Mutton Club - Sheep Shearers Banquet
A long-time ambition of ours, is the Mutton Club - an appreciation for all things Fernhill Farm, and a celebration of sheep and nomadic shepherding
We won’t make you eat mutton on every occasion and all dietary requests will be fully catered for, it’s just a simple evening of togetherness with a focus on true food, lovely conversations, some sort of entertainment in a warm safe space here on the Mendip Hills
The Sheep Shearers Banquet is a new addition to our Blade Shearing Tournament, Fleece sale, and Fibre Experience weekend and thus this 3 course meal, with local ciders, will be served in the Horseshoe barn after the Open Day activities, the night after our Blade Shearers Tournament
The banquet will be served from 7pm from the kitchen and cosy dining room
We are offering this at £25pp for all adults, with BYO drinks to our tables - glasses will be available from our self service bar plus teas, coffee and water will be available to help yourself throughout the evening

Saturday Super Roast
+ Somerset cider
MAIN (buffet)
Fernhill rosemary & thyme rubbed roast Mendip Mutton
Or
Fernhill roasted pork with crinkly crackling & Apple Sauce
ACCOMPANIMENTS
Rosemary & thyme roasted local potatoes
Cauliflower cheese with local cheddar
Steamed spinach, peas & chard with garlic butter
Swede & pumpkin mash
Apple / Mint sauce
PUDDING
Fruit Crumble & homemade custard

For those wanting to stay - please pre-book your camping or campervan space too thanks - most beds will be reserved for the wool harevsting teams
